For those of you who don't know, I hate it when people leave the country. Partially it comes from the burning hypocrisy when a republican who demands the official language be English travels to a country where she can't speak shit. If you ever need an adventuring buddy to hit local museums with or what not, call me. My roomate introduced me to doing this. We have several civil war museums we still have on our list. Very entertaining.

I will admit though, I am guilty of large travel escapades. It's just fun to explore anywhere.

Though really, I have found there is no place I'd rather live than Clemson. :)

It's so easy to overlook the merits of wherever you live. On the other hand, I'm not going to take time off work to have a vacation in my own town, even if that's the only way I can visit the friggin' coffee shop and other downtown businesses that close at 5:30 everyday.

Is that a good reason?

I have learned that I do long for for America. It's fun here, but I miss the States.

I guess if you never leave, you don't appreciate it as much, right?

It's also fun to try to get around in a place where you can't speak the language. Keyword: cerveza.
