Thank Ash! It is rather heartbreaking, isn't it? This story has turned out to be way more angsty than I'd originally intended… I've kind of got myself stuck in angst mode. Let's hope that things look up a little in the last chapter!

Did Charlene, put sleeping pills in Luke's food?

I understand Luke's rage, but Max knows Noah he wouldn't do that and Luke should know it too. But I guess when you are angry you can't think straight ha! Straight. ;) Anyway I see why he did that to Noah's lab.

I do like the fact that he kinda sees what Charlene did as a blessing, because now it's out there and there's no going back.

Also please kill Lily, women like that piss me off. I couldn't disown my child no matter what. So for her to even say those words to him, just yuck.

And I get why Noah didn't ask him to stay Luke needs to start making some of his own choices, he needs to figure out what to do. He should stay, but Noah shouldn't make that choice, Luke needs to grow up and live his life and not give a fuck what his father thinks or his mother, since there's certain conditions pinned on whether they could love him or not.

Great chapter Anne. I can't wait for the conclusion of this- cause I know it'll be good. :)

No, Charlene didn't put sleeping pills in Luke's food. Damn! I wish I had thought of that, it sounds way more dramatic than Luke falling asleep because all the emotion caught up with him (poor baby!)

You'd hope that Lily would even try to understand Luke. Let's hope she redeems herself a little in the last chapter.

And you're right, Noah does want Luke to stay and Luke should stay but it should be his own choice and he really needs to stand on his own two feet.
