Anne, so sorry I'm late reading the latest chapter of this extraordinary fic! I finally have a day off after a VERY busy week for me!

And oh my goodness, I was worried something like this might happen! You built the tension so beautifully. I continue to be thoroughly impressed at how seamlessly you've evolved their relationship from an unexpected sexual chemistry and somewhat cheap fling to them obviously beginning to fall in love-so seamlessly that they themselves are only still processing the change.

You really have something special going with these two in this alternate universe, Anne. If we had a FOTM for Neid fics, this would surely be one of my nominations!

I'm so happy to read how you've enjoyed the development of their relationship. You're right: I don't think either of them expected anything further to develop and now that there's the hint of something more there, I don't think either of them know how to react... or even quite realise it yet.

This was such a powerful chapter, both the violence if the fight and that of the emotions.
