Easter Break Part 3 of 4: Philadelphia

Saturday, like most of Easter weekend, was insane. Andrew and I drove into the city, picked up his GF Megan, and walked around South Street. We got lunch at my uncle's restaurant, La Fourno, which was delicious (and free, saaaaweet). I saw an old guy playing the flute, and i asked him if he ever played flute at City Hall, like say ten years ago

awww that was the civic center... it was really nice before the city put a giant hole in the middle of it...

yeah it seemed pretty nice. Why-sit all broken up now?

it was old. there was what seemed to be a somewhat half-assed campaign to save it, but judging by the hole, i'd say they failed. most likely penn will be putting something larger and uglier on that plot of land.
