Water water everywhere...

It was a storm of biblical proportions! It was raining so hard! so much lightning, so little electricity for the sherry house. We were sans utilities for like 3 hours. oh well. We have power (and toilet capabilities) once more, and i celebrated by taking an online quiz.

it was so bad that my dad called me. that was weird. it didn't seem too bad from my room. we had power and all. the lightening was really loud though

my brothers roommate jessie told us this story tonight about his friend who left home at 16, partly becuase his father was a ridiculous racist. The last time he saw his dad, he said that black people et candy for breakfast and don't know how to use the internet, and, when pressed on the truth behind such a statement, admitted that it wasnt true but such thinking would help keep "them" down, and hence, it is important to make such assertions. I thought of you when i heard this story because you posted earlier about your family being racist.
