Have you seen "Living in Oblivion" with Steve Buscemi? Peter Dinklage, while a dwarf rather than a midget, does play a dwarf acting within a movie WITHIN THE MOVIE (which is really all about making a movie)!

Also, how about that Christian Bale challenge? If I go check out American Psycho, will you take a look at The Machinist? Ain't nothin' wrong with gettin' better acquainted with the filmography of Bale and his dark side. Then track down that YouTube video of all the action scenes from Equilibrium set to "Dragula." 'Cause everyone's face needs the occasional melting.

I think that this review had to have been the most difficult for you. Because it was HILARIOUS, but at the same time you're thinking, "Hmm... should I really be laughing at that?" It's one of those movies where what it is REALLY about is something horrible. And you said it best, the film does leave you "with the faintly uncomfortable sensation that you've just been to a party you weren't invited to; a sensation of unease, a thorough hangover, and your conscience's seersucker coat rumpled with the wallet left in the wrong pocket."
