The thing I've noticed when I do friend's cuts is I cut the people who either post all the time...because then I end up having to look at all their posts about their cats...or people who never post, because what are they doing there? I usually keep the people in the middle.
Paul stole from you? That's crazy! How long was it going on, what was he stealing, how did you know? I've never known a friend of mine to steal, so a boyfriend stealing is even crazier. I hope I'm not prying! I would just really like to know details on stuff like that so I know what to look for if it ever happens to me!
Also! About friends lists. You should make a filter, that's what I do. I have all of my friends added, but then I have a filter of the ones I always read, versus the ones I sometimes read.
You create a "custom friends group" or whatever, then when you want to read friends entries, just go to your friends page, then add the name of the filter at the end of the url (so like angelkaizer.livejournal.com/friends/non-comm for me) and it filters it.
