Last Wednesday, I taught a class at the Google campus on how to cook at Burning Man.

Desipte my inability to watch myself on-screen, I think it went pretty well. Sadly, Larry and Sergei declined to attend.

I have the associated handouts in a Word document; I'm not sure about the best way to distribute them though. ( Read more... )

Are you new at the Gplex since March? Man, I miss that place. I would say "tell Mirit the random AV tech says hi" but she probably wouldn't have a clue who you'd be talking about.

I've been around since February; is that when you left? What could entice your away from the free food and hour-long commute? (Or are you still there now?)

I left on the first day of April, but it wasn't by choice. I was contracting, and got dicked around pretty hard by people who enjoyed dangling conversion over my head.

Aha! You must be the culprit! Your playa cooking expertise must have been why everyone from my camp kept saying they're going over to YATP!

Actually, I think they were all coming over just because YatP and DDI are buddies.

Despite my meticulous instructions, our kitchen was an utter mess this year. Mostly due to all of us not really giving a damn about things like "work" and "cleaning", and 90% of the camp eating at the Devil's Workshop.
