I finally have time to update about Spring Break! My parents took Me, Ally, Kristy and Nicole to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and we had a awesome time...AYYYY!
Friday morning Kristy,Ally, and Nicole showed up around 7:00, we took some pictures and were on the road by 7:20. The drive there went by SOOO fast. I honestly think every hour felt like about 15 minutes. We were all just talking, listening to music, and relaxing. We stopped at Arby's along the way and at every table there was a phone...god damn, I forgot to pick it up and see what it was there for!! I guessed "Excuse me, I'm to overweight to get up and walk to the register..can I have another large fry and pop!"
We got to Winston-Salem around 5:30. We went to Taco Bell around 7:00 and pretty much went back to the hotel,"accidently" called
some people,and called it a night. We were watching some old movie that was pretty funny and went to bed before 11:00 because we were all so tired.
Saturday we had the awesome continental brekfast at the hotel and then hit the road around 8, I think. That drive went by very fast as well. We saw many FW'S!! and for awhile Kristy said she didn't see enough black people, so everytime we saw one, we pointed him out! Once we got to Myrtle Beach, we went to Wendys, got on our bathing suits and layed out at our Condo's (Sheratons Broadway Plantation)pool. We unpacked all our stuff and got settled into the condo and decided to go GROCERY SHOPPING!! What an experience. We made some good choices and spent under $60 and it lasted us the whole week! We are sweet shoppers! We were making mac & cheese, but forgot the butter, so Kristy and I had to go back!
Sunday was Easter, so we woke up, and blew a fuse because all four of us were using something in our own bathrooms! whoops! Nicole the electrician fixed it, though. We all looked very cute and I guess I looked like a MILF...not the first time, of course! After church we made lunch at the condo,went driving down the strip, talked to the maz a little, and later that night we went to the Butka's condo because they invited us over for Easter dinner. I thought their condo was pretty nice, and really loved that it was on the ocean. We ate dinner out in the hallway, which was pretty funny, and then got our bathing suits on and went to the pool and hot tub. That was lots of fun, and Kristy and I ran out to the ocean together and were swimming around. IT WAS FREEZING. We came back to the pool, and almost everyone wanted to go and do it again, so we did...not everyone went in though. After all the swimming, we went back to the condo, showered and met up with the maz and some of his friends. We went to your typical spring break hotel party. It was hotel room to hotel room, balcony to balcony,
and beer to beer,and all that was a great experience, with some small drama afterwards!
Monday we tried to find Enoks for nicole and kristy to get their bellybutton pierced...no luck there. We went to Jimmy Buffets Margaritaville with the guys. Chad was our awesome waiter, and we got really cool hats. We went to the guys condo to get our cameras and cole and I walked on the beach for a little while. We saw the sun come up for a few minutes out of the water, and then go back down, so that was pretty cool. Everyone met some AWESOME black guys while cole and I were gone, but the one guy, Jason...introduced himself to me. We tried to go to ENOKS AGAIN..and thought he died because all the lights were on, the door was locked and it just looked spooky. We were convinced he was dead!Then us girls went down to the strip. I loved driving down there-you would honk your horn, scream at guys and just act all stupid. It was great, but it took like two hours to drive it the full way because of it being the hot spot.
Tuesday I got burned so bad at the pool. The Ya*Ya's went down tanning for a little while at the pool and then later on the guys came over and we had lots of fun in the lazy river and ally, erik, cole, evan, matt and I all went to the indoor pool to play volleyball. It was so much fun and after awhlie about 6 other kids joined us! Then we went back to the condo, I looked at my massive burnage on the face...it was bad. Then we had pizza and salad. I felt like special because we were going to my parents room to get our food, and then eating in our condo. I don't know how to explain it! Then we went to the strip with erik and cole, and dropped them off at their condo. The Ya*Ya's drove around for a long time trying to find ice cream, but everything was closed! Boo frickedy hoo.
Wednesday we went to ENOKS and got Kristy and Nicoles Belly Buttons Pierced! woo! They iced themselves for like an hour and then I went in with nicole first and held her hand. Then it was me and Kristy and I held her hand to. I think she was a little more scared, and when he was doing it I was telling her stories. I'm such a great mom! After that we went to a smelly thrift store and to an awesome old drive-in restaurant called sonic. I think we went to Broadway at the beach for a little shopping that night. Some sicko's in a store asked me and kristy to kiss for them!
Thursday we layed out in the sun as usual, got cleaned up and then went to Ripleys. I love that place, but have to agree, that it is a rip off! $17 for admission. But I love aquariums! We went shopping ant Broadway some more and noticed once again how dang nice and friendly the boys are down there!
Friday I woke up early because we were going to go to the outlets in the morning, but I decided we would just go at night, so ally and I went to the pool and nicole met us there later. I talked to Jason while I was at the pool, and he was in north carolina, so that was pretty cool! After the pool, we cleaned up, did a little CVS shopping and went to the outlets. Shopped at Aero, and then looked at undies and hilarious shirts at Rue 21. Kristy and I got this shirt that says "Student Crossing" and it shows a drunk crawling across the road with a beer in his hand..probably the funniest shirt I've EVER seen! I'm laughing just thinking about it! We went down to the strip and got T's made and got some hoodies. Some gay guy was all up on me in a store telling me this shirt looked good on me. We went to the Gay Dolphin, which was an AWESOME store, and then we went to about ten Wings and Eagles stores where we made YA*YA HISTORY!! Back at the condo we packed and then around 2:00 am when we were done, Kristy and I finally used that jacuzzi of ours and probably went to sleep around 3:30.
I didn't get very much sleep obviously, so I drove through north carolina, and then kristy took over the rest of the way home. The trip home was definatley longer, and we did do it the whole way, without spending the night. It was like a freaking blizzard and hard to see and drive, so we had to go really slow on the freeways! Got home before midnight though!
