Omg, she died. I had no idea she was ill, although to be perfectly honest I hadn't been following her in a very long time, not since the whole Mary's Bookshelf implosion of 2006.
It's very sad that she's passed away though.

Yeah I guess she had a heart attack on Thursday. :( I haven't kept in touch much either; I don't know if it was her or me but one of us unfollowed first a few years ago and I just looked at her other blog a couple times out of curiosity.

I'm reminiscing a bit about how the fandom was back then...it was sad it didn't last longer but it was nice that it was such a fun time for a while there. It's amazing how different it is from the BSG fandom today.

The BSG fandom is barely recognizable from the days of 2006, and I don't think it changed in a very good way but that's probably for another post. I shall just recall the days of the chat room and that fun before everything went to hell.

Oh, wow. This is so sad. She was such a cornerstone of the early Adama/Roslin fandom and was really quite funny & fierce. :(

Your super-fierce attitude about all life-related things never failed to make me laugh. :)
Agreed.

I remember her talking about lupus, but it's always a bit of a shock, even when you hadn't been in contact with a person for years.
