I did EXACTLY what she wanted, even though I didn;t like it.

AND DESPITE IT BEING WHAT SHE SAID TO DO, I GOT A C-.

I don't get Cs. This is bullshit.

HAHA! i get pissed off cuz the proff doesnt understand my symbolism and my reasoning behind my composition...but yet she yells at me because my 2 min. presentation is too long...there is no way in hell i can explain my though processes behind 5 pieces of my works, in 2 min. I LOVE YOU MANDY! hehe hope your doing well!

And that is pretty dumb. And you're a fantabulous artist! A two minutes presentation is not very long at all...a teacher of all people should know that! More often, students get reprimanded for not saying ENOUGH!

Glad someone loves me. ;] Hahaha. I'm doing okay. I've been sick for about 5 straight weeks now, but I tink I'm finally getting better. So. I'm doing okay.

yeah so here's one thing to keep in mind, you dont need a teaching cirtificit to teach college art...its just basically people who majored in art who came out of college and couldnt make it in the real world, so they had to settle for teaching at a college institution.

dont take much of anything they say to heart - just remember, THEY are the ones who couldnt cut it, other wise they would have gone the extra mile and acutally GOT that teaching degree to actually TEACH art some place, right now their just kinda stating their oppinions and getting paied for it.....and fucking with the brains of college level students threatening them with grades and such....their all just jelous!

Pretty sure they actually do have degrees. :p And Liz is an accomplished artist. :rolls eyes: I don't care for her work, either, but I didn;t tell her it sucked. Sheesh. I just don'treally get these people. But You're right, and I've realized, that it doesn't particularly matter what they tell me, because someone somewhere is going to think it's great. I just have to find the right people. And for right now, I guess learning to handle being criticized and not liked is good experience.
