I think he just got the free months with his car purchase and stopped using it when they asked him to pay for it.

Solid idea. I wouldn't be interested in most of the NPR though.

I knew a guy who had XM. He was annoying. I wonder if all people who have XM are annoying?

All the Above Cool, except... eyeshurts July 12 2005, 22:42:57 UTC
NPR. NO! Just say, "NO!" to NPR. It's boooorrrrring. Everyone talks sooooo slooooow. Hate to tell you Paul, but in a few months you'll find NPR to be a drag (except Click and Clack, but that is because they talk at a rate normal to human beings, and are entertaining). While some topics can be interesting, again, it all falls to over intelectualizing and analyzing things like The Bourne Identity; or it's over analyzing something like the Byzintine influence on Pornography...something interesting, but just can't get into (or find in our local libraries). That's all I have to say. Of course, others will disagree. And to be honest, NPR is one of my buttons on my radio...but I rarely listen to it, except for short story hour (which used to be on Sundays at around 7, I haven't listened in a few years) and the above mentioned CLICK AND CLACK.

-WHOOSH!-

Ah, yes. The Tappit brothers. I'd agree with Wheezy that this is about the only thing entertaining on NPR. That, and Harry Shearer's "Le Show", which is now podcasted.

This is a good idea. I hope you sent an uponened copy to yourself postmarked before you sent this.

Big time corps. have a hard time giving credit if you have no proof that it was your idea.

I'm not sure if the internets count.

i didnt actually send a letter, nor am i going to. mainly because if they need the advice of someone outside their company, i don't trust their intelligence enough to buy one of their products. if they dont have something already in the works, then i'd be really surprised. not to mention, its not a completely novel idea, so patenting it would be a nightmare.
