Wow...I was kidding. And after experiencing it I really wish I hadn't said anything.
Ironic we're made sick on our way to a LAB!

"Knox...what kind of a name is THAT?"

I looked at the addressed and he stood about, wimpish level and had the look about him that said: 'I totally make gadgets for James Bond'.
James Bond was some super agent thing or something, I never really took notice of it because it was just so retarded.

Turning to, Wolf?, I addressed her with my arms folded across my chest once again.

"Sure you're not ill yourself or anything? That's a lot of people to move from one place to another"

I knew how this stuff worked...you don't live in a hell dimension and not learn evil 101. Cause and effect and all that.

"Unless, you know, someone got left behind, or part of someone did"

By the look on Hart's face I could near enough guarantee she wished my mouth had been left behind so I smiled at her.

"How's the weather down there?"

I looked around the room. Okay, this wasnt something I should be doing a lot. Grabbing a hold of the table, I felt alittle sick.

"For any first time fliers who currently HAVE bodies and feel sick...suck it up."

Glaring at the person, I wanted to get away from these people. I walked over to the exit to take a look outside of the lab. I felt like an animal stuck in a fricken cage. Where were those animal activists that didnt like animals in cages? They are never around when you needed them.

"Bathroom. Where is it?" I placed my hand over my mouth. Sure I wasnt really sick but It felt like I was. And besides it would get me away from these losers.

My lab seemed like it was turning into some sort of doctor's office. Like everyone came to me to get shots. I glanced over to the young boy, already bored. At least the last girl was unpredicatable.

"That's a ridiculous question", I replied scathingly, "It's Old English."

The boy was shooting me a nasty look, one that made me weary of making him corporeal. The other girl was looking around for the bathroom. Or so she claimed.

I nodded to her, "If you would follow me, I could show it to you."

And make sure she didn't escape in the process.

I smiled at Wolf, "I already have everything set up, for when we return."

"Yes, you did. Chips-Ahoy!...and all that. I'm sure it's done wonders for you. You were on the path of following in old grand-sire's shoes huh? The Slayer...the soul. Was 'Spike Investigations' next on your list of things to do before the hell-fire kicked in?"

Stupid bint. What did she know? Didn’t know a damn thing. Thought she did with the whole knowing of everything and what was she to begin with. “Hey listen here, don’t be going round talkin’ like you know a soddin’ thing or two bout me. Sure got the soul but had nothing to do with Angel. Hell, if I wanted to follow his path I’d be getting cursed with a soul.”

I just roll my eyes at the sound of still trying to go to this doctor. Sure didn’t want to be like this forever but I knew it’d come at a cost. Always did.

“Whatever you say captain.” I say in a mocking voice.

I glance round the room once we get in. “Knox? Interesting name for a fella. Wonder what sort of mysteries he upholds.” I glance at the guy. “Don’t think he’ll do me much good. Best be getting on my way then.”

I looked at Knox before walking the other direction. This was unbelieveable! I couldnt even use the damn bathroom without them behind me all the time. What was next? Was he going to hold my hair when I vomitted? I think not.

"Seriously, You dont need to escort me to the ladies rooms. I just need to know where it is at and thats it." Crossin my arms, I continued to walk down the hallway.

If Angel did get Darla's message, Should he be here? Looking around each hallway, I needed to know if he was here. Because if he was here, He could get me out of here!

"Where is that bathroom?"

I sighed, as she went on her little tirade. "I wasn't escorting you out of the goodness of my heart, dear." I comment acidly, adding the endearment to irritate the girl more. "The labs are like a maze. I can't just point you in the proper direction and hope you'll find it. You won't. You'll get lost, possibly try to escape, hold up the works, and simply make the day a waste of my time." I explained patiently, as if I was talking to the small child. "It's easier if you let me take you there."

The attitude of all the ghosts was really getting to me. Lilah had been bad enough, but to deal with three annoying white hats at once was too much.

Remind me why we were bringing them back again?

I smirked at her, "so are you ready?"

"Its not like I need to get solid. Because Hello? I'm already that." I looked at Knox. He was the type of person I made use to make fun of in Highschool. High school, That was something I wish I could do over again.

My Dizziness was starting to wear off but I still wanted to get away from everyone. What would it take to get some alone time? Well there was always kick the guy in the knee and run away option. Bu then I would have that creepy people on my tail and that wouldnt add to the 'I want to be alone' idea.

"Please show me it."

"Well, at least you were kind enough to ask politely," I remarked, offhand, as I led her away. I had once been told I had a superiority complex. My answer to the allegation? I simply told the peon that any comment they happened to make was below my attention.

Did I prove them right? Of course.

I knew I had changed, especially the last couple months, but I actually had a purpose to fulfill. Part of that purpose included staying alive and keeping my agenda away from the Senior Partners prying eyes. This might include showing some sort of compassion every so often.

"I'm sorry about earlier." I explained to her, "Please forgive my rudeness, but there's only so much insult a guy can take in a day." I grinned at her.

Sure, it was all an act. It was a fun one,though.

"Well if I was key science guy, I would be rude too." I said while walking. "Do you think that after I get done in the bathroom, you could tell the creepy kid and that other chick that I wasnt feeling well and that I wanted to go back up to my room."

I looked at Knox before smiling sweetly. "If you want you can have one of those macho demon guards escort me up there so I wont escape. Not that I would." Sure I wouldnt be able to take them down but I would get to be alone and thats all I really wanted at this point.

"Just think, One less person for you to be rude at and one less person you have to worry about breaking something important."
