Willow taught us both some knew tricks of the trade while also giving us the safety lecture. That part was always the boring part of learning. But Nick and I sat through it. My GOD. I didn't know there was so much information to go with the witchcraft. At least, that's what I think it was. Apparently I'd gotten demon powers so I'm not sure it's the same. But anyway, I'm babbling. I'd learnt a lot and one of the cool things I'd got a good knack for was doing the mindspeak thing, handy if you're gagged or...not got your head, although, how would you mindspeak if you had no head? Nick...are you high? What a goof.

I don't know how long I had been staring off into the sun but it felt like forever, would probably still be staring off if it wasn't for feeling Nick brush against my shoulder. First I was leaving, then I wasn't and now..kissing. I don't want to sound all love sick..but does the term melting like putty here work? Oh god..please don't let him have one of those flash picture shows happen in his head...let this go smooth without any interuptions.

After a few moments our lips parted and Nick started talking out loud...lots of words came with that. Where as the same thing was going on in my head though I managed to keep my mouth shut and listen to him talk...and talk....and talk some more.

Finally I lifted a finger up to his lips and heard him say fanksh. I looked at him once again a smile on my face. Oddly enough...that babbling thing was kinda adorable.

I lowered my finger down from his lips, his hand had been around my waist from our previous lip locking encounter.

Still very much so in the moment I returned the gesture and kissed him. Hopefully that said enough as word wise...cause I don't think I could have said anything better then giving him a kiss myself.

We kissed for...lord knows how long and then pulled apart again and I blinked a few times.

"That's one way of shutting me up..."

And hey...no random 'I'm going to slash you and gut you' or 'I'm going to eat your eyeballs and ram a metal stick up your--'.

"So...maybe we should check up on people...I mean...Nikki will probably be pitching a spaz right about now and your sister...well...she's probably in mortal peril being the slayer and all"

Not to mention all the guys will probably be needing some bait to use roundabouts now. Mental sigh.

Kissing Nick just felt right, like this moment has been waiting to just get out without any interruptions and now that we finally got not only our first kiss, but also second kiss..wow I so don't know how to explain all this. It just felt right. I guess that's one way to go about describing it.

After we pulled apart from our second kiss I couldn't stop smiling at him. Okay Dawn..now is not the right time to start being a dork...but then he was smiling to. So maybe that was a good thing then.

Time to go look for everyone..in a nice dark, wet icky place...Okay so maybe he didn't say icky but most places my sister liked to hang out where icky. Only place that was semi cool was the graveyards..or well they used to be cool before I learned about the whole vampires being real and everything else that can go bump in the night that could also be located there ( ... )
