I decided to name her Groundscore. She's doing much better. Yesterday she started playing for the first time, and now she's hell-bent on escaping the bathroom. We gave her a bath last night so she's slightly less smelly. She discovered wet food and has been eating like a champ. She even managed a few meows yesterday

I thought I'd see if there was any further news on the kitty, and thee is! I'm glad to hear she's doing so well; it must be such a relief.

I'm planning on posting an update to spo_prevention after her vet visit tomorrow, but yeah, she's been doing great.

I've never had a cat who got as hard a start as Groundscore did, but my two are both shelter alums and could easily have wound up on the streets. Hard to think of - they're such wonderful pets!

We can't save them all, perhaps, but we ought to at least do what we can for those that land in our lives. Sounds like you are. :)
