so theres this girl that i kinda like from work. and i decided i was going to invite her to hang out, etc.. but since i dont have her phone number (and calling her woulda been lamexcore anyway), i had decided to show up at the end of her shift

you should approach her as if to find out whether she's compatible with you (to see if you're actually interested in her) - not as if you'd be compatible with her (and if she doesn't respond, she's prolly gay :)...attitude is everything (act as if ;)

Josh let me tell you what to do because "I KNOW". Just walk up to her and kiss the girl. If she likes you she will keep kissing you, and if she hates you then at least you got a kiss out of it...AND maybe fired too, but i believe it is worth the risk....
