My ipod is charged. My legs are aching from two days of horseriding in a Russian saddle. My cardgame skills are finely honed from seven months of preparation. I think I'm ready to take the trans-Siberian.
Next stop: Moscow. In 5 days' time.
Over annnnnnnnnnnd...out :)

i was just thinking of you the other day when I was talking to a friend. She's going to Queens college Cambridge this year to study english lit.
She's also a food loving veggie, very pretty, secretly hates myspace but has an account thats never used, is very clever and has a wicked taste in music.
So it seems like you to have a lot of similarities!
I gave her this blog page, I hope u don't mind. If you do end up seeing or speaking to her oneday then i reckon you'd get on really well.
Good luck with the last leg of you're travels,
have fun, stay safe and hopefully see you sometime when your home

(oh and my mate's name is Laura if she does say hello.)

Thank you for the tip-off for Cambridge...contacts in unfamiliar places are invaluable - and she sounds like a great girl :)

Your postcard arrived from Shanghai today-thank you! We've really enjoyed reading your log and wish we could do the same...maybe when Fergus leaves home??
Have a great train ride-I'm really really jealous!

really fabulous account of our Gobi trip, it makes me even more nostalgic about Mongolia and you guys!
And great pictures too... I mean it... you have some talent lady!
Anyhoo, where and how are you? I suppose in the middle of Siberia in platskart, kicking ass at Durak :)
I got back to London last night... and I did end up making a pizza for tonight!! Still cannot believe we've been around the world and back... foocking hell as Shakespeare would say.
Hope to see you in London very very soon... I am still planning a VJ DJ Massive Eat type thing for my bday on 24 Sept... if not, I am sure we can arrange a bender somehow! :)
But meanwhile, have a savage time!!!! :))))
Love and kisses
