I think third person would work best with this. I've read a couple of books where the story was told in first person but from different characters, and I usually got annoyed by it after a while.
yeah I think that's where i'm headed. I was reading the story we wrote a couple weeks ago (did you know we are so awesome? it's still really good!) and one thing I noticed was that I did a lot of third person "head hopping" where while two people were having a conversation I would switch back and forth between both of their povs and telling what each of them was thinking and feeling. At first I thought that might be kind of weird for a book, but now I"m not sure.
