*flashback*

Sam's house, 11.30am. The light is filtering in through the clouds weakly, and we make not very polite conversation to pass the time. The doorbell rings. Who could it be? It's Ele. "Lets hide!" exclaims Emma, jovially. I run ( Read more... )

sorry, I'm giggling here (so unfair, so sorry) but for some reason this is funny - feel free to blame it on the fact that I've got a weird German/English hybrid humour or the fact that I managed to lose they key to my anti theft device lock AFTER I locked the steering wheel and spent an hour walking back and forward between the car and my office (I'd done overtime) and then having to wait an hour for hubby to bring the key and it's nice I'm not the only one who had stupid thing happen to them

*hides* and hopes to make you forgive me with the news that I've posted part 47 of Torchwood House

*glares weakly* I suppose this would be "schadenfreude"? And no worries, really. I was laughing literally 1 second after this happened, in a slightly hysterical way admittedly, but laughing all the same.

I have to admit, though, that the novelty value wore off rather quickly after I realised I couldn't eat. -__- Turns out I have just enough nerves exposed to make everything and anything impossible. Yay!

And then my mum, in a rather blasé way, told me that there's a chance I might've broken my nose. Which I doubt, but I'm really not sure whether or not she was being sarcastic...

Ah well, such is life. If it is broken, I never much liked my nose anyway, and then I could get reconstructive surgery free on the NHS! Double yay!

And yes, I forgive you~<3

no, schadenfreude I'd see more nasty than that... it's actually being happy about someone's misfortune, my reaction was more sharing that first laugh you had when it happened - and after today hysteria was definite a part of it for me too

hope you can eat now... but ouch - talking of NHS though, your local hospital should have an emergency dental service I'd guess

and thanks for the forgiveness

(Yes, I do have enough to time to run my speech through a Cambridge text encoder. There's nothing wrong with that, neither does it say anything about my absence of a life... *shifty look*)
