I woke up today at around 10:30, ready to play with my puppy and get going with the day. Crawling out of bed, I threw on my black Frosh Cab sweatpants and my green sweatshirt, eager to have some fun on such a beautiful day. Around half an hour later, I remembered that today was September 11th

I like to think the people are all essentially good. That the purest emotion is love. But growing up and being exposed to the world, that just seems too idealist. Human nature is selfish and filled with hate. But then again, during a time crisis and disaster, we call to make sure the people we love are okay. We don't call for slander or gossip or threats. I guess that shows that love is more important and more vital then hate. Love is what drives people and it brings out the best in all of us. Hate is insubstantial in comparison.
