FALL OUT BOY: FROM UNDER THE CORK TREE

release date: 5-3-05

Sounds like (aka if you like... you'll like):

the starting line's say it like you mean it, new found glory's catalyst (but a lot better), fall out boy's take this to your grave. (duh)

songs:

our lawyers made us change the name of this song so we wouldnt get sued:  the guitars are a tiny bit heavier but the group chorus towards the end just says fall out boy

of all the gin joints in the world: this chorus really sounds like the starting line. but patricks stump vocals are amazing

dance, dance: hes got a little robert smith thing going the the beginning, this song makes me wanna dance. really

sugar, we're going down: a lot of energy.  fall out boy's first cd was more of a "mad at ex" emo type of thing but a lot of this cd is um.. more.. "i'm watching you two from the closet, wishing to be the friction in your jeans" love the pianos on this song

nobody puts baby in the corner: at first i liked the acoustic version of this song a lot better, but the tech-y drums grew on me

i've got a dark alley and a bad idea that says you should shut your mouth (summer song): patrick uses his deeper range for this song. a tiny bit more mellow than the rest of the cd.

7 minutes in heaven (atavan halen): good catchy, classic fall out boy song

sophomore slump or comeback of the year: definatly comeback of the year

champagne for my real friends, real pain for my sham friends: awesome title, "we only do it for the scars and stories, not the fame" thank god

i slept with someone in Fall Out Boy and all i got was a stupid song written about me: moral of the song: be yourself. chad gilberts vocals at the end makes me wish new found glory was a screamo band

a little less sixteen candles, a little more "touch me": i think patrick stump and kenny vasoli have the same brain

get busy living or get busy dying (do your part to save the scene and stop going to shows):  a little touch of new found glory, a little ...idk listen to this song cuz its just musicaly and vocaly awesome.

xo: great song with a good tempo. great way to finish up a "no skiping" cd.

guest vocals:

william beckett of the academy is...:  on sophomore slump...

brenden urie of panic! at the disco: on 7 minutes in heaven

chad gilbert of new found glory/hazen street: on i slept with...

...go buy it...now
