I think it's exercise plus music plus small accomplishments, like passing up the quarter machines and not saying, "Oh, why not? It doesn't matter if I eat it or not." Cause it does! Or, "It doesn't matter if I...." anything!
I used to run in the mornings this holiday, but I have no time for that when all my classes begin at 7.30 or 8.00. But I walk a lot instead... like from the univeristy to my flat and from the flat to my university 5 times a day :>. Anyway, you can get used to not eating sweets. I haven't eaten them since last Christmas and I feel good without them :D.
