Holt is leaving for Kanakuk in a few short hours. im praying SO hard about the next two weeks. i hope he has a fantastic cabin and counselors. and that he loves doing football with Joe and Liggs. i hope that he has a good attitude and just chases after God with reckless abandonment. i hope a LOT of things

why not pray? why not praise God and ask Him for help?

because you're never going to get that many people in one place just for praising God alone. and you couldn't get them there with music, because most of the major crowd-pulling artists aren't christian and would never agree to it.

yeah...i liked the premise behind live8, but it still seemed kinda futile.

though i thought it was funny how snoop dogg wrote a little rap for the event, which was about raising money and stuff...and the event wasn't to raise money at all. haha.
