I adore going to the farmers' markets.  The fruit and veg are so beautiful and yummy looking I just want to buy buy buy.  Donut peaches are in super season right now, everyone has them.  Just bought the last of the Rainer cherries from one farm on Tuesday.  Also grabbed a large bouquet of lovely flowers for $5.  I also bought a pound of purple

Glad for the briefing on the slimcado, as I'm sure I would have tried it if I'd seen it. But I love Haas avocados for their rich, fatty goodness -- missed 'em terribly in Italy -- and watery avocados are just baaaaaaad. So I'll trust you on this and not bother!
