Australia Pictures: Part One

Apr 25, 2006 20:00

Well, due to extreme boredom that totally contradicts my post from earlier today, I've had some time to work on my Australia pics, and lo-and-behold, I've actually finished them!

Now for the mega-photo-post from hell... part one:

I am tired, so I didn't read a lot of your text...but I can imagine the snide comments, and explainations of the drunken expressions. But seriously Hannah, those photos are AMAZING. The ones of the lions and stuff look like they came out of National Geographic magazine....really beautiful. I promise I will read more later...or you can give me the story in full when we hang out in a few weeks.

Thanks for the props on the photos... unfortunately, I didn't take them all (my mom took the Lioness ones. My camera's zoom isn't that good). And don't worry, I'll make you sit through all 1200+ photos when you come over. ;)

Although I did spit up an spill hot coffee on my lap after scrolling down to see that spider (holy moly that rivals the ones in Japan - SCARY!!!), I did love the pics.

P.S. LOVED that blue kimono like top you had on for the winery tour, it's beautiful and looks GREAT on you too!

Yeah, the spiders creeped me out, but not as much as the snakes, which *thank god* I didn't see any of... but they are lurking EVERYWHERE!

And thanks re the shirt. I love that shirt, and it had been hiding in the closet for over a year without being worn, so Australia was it's re-debut! It's actually quite a debaucherous shirt... ;)

Have you ever seen that movie called "Deep Blue Sea" with Michael Rappaport where they have a facility out in the ocean and they breed this super intelligent sharks? Then the sharks take over, and start hunting the humans down in the facility, and eventually everyone dies except LL Cool J because he's a brother with an attitude? For some reason the underwater walkway makes me remember that movie....even though it's actually more similar to that scene from JAWS (which installment I can't remember). Either way I have visions of the sharks attacking the walkway, and cracking the glass. It's scary.
