Migrains ... Its a terrible thing

Happy hour was going fine. I had been really sick the night before and half the day so I was happy to be out. I met a few new people. They ran out of cornbeef and cabbage but the flank steak was A-OK instead. I even tried a new beer, for me, Smithsomthing ... probably a good sign that I can't remember the name

as a migraine sufferer who just happen to come across this journal jumping... I highly recommend asking a doctor about a prescription for migraine abortive meds like Imitrex, Maxalt, Frova, Relpak and the like... they are super effective for stopping migraines... gone in 20 minutes to two hours depending on the drug and person....they make motrin look like sugar pills by comparision. I have found them to be a lifesaver on a regular basis...feel one coming on, take it, and be able to continue on with my evening...

I'm a friend of brigeecat and occasionally when bored at work, I page through friends of friends journals....

glad you found it... maxalt is faster better than Imitrex in my opinion..and Frova may even be better... I just started trying it, and went two weeks migraine free which is extremely uncommon for me...
