HISTORY: Beast on Wiki
PERSONALITY: To those who only see the woman from an outsider's perspective, Beast's personality easily resembles that of her namesake. She's fiercely wild, somewhat loud, and as far as outsiders know, completely unable to be tamed. As the animal tamer in the Noah's Ark Circus, she not only has to have extreme stage presence, the ability to smile and perform under pressure, but she also must use her commanding personality to take control over powerful animals who could easily overpower and harm her.
When it comes to emotions, Beast is a woman of extremes. She feels the whole spectrum of emotions intensely and never has any intention of holding herself back from showing it, unless in the spotlight. She's short-tempered, obnoxious, and can be downright rude when you get down to it. She wants nothing to do with strangers, feeling that despite the beauty she is proud of, they look down on her for prosthetic leg. She was denied a 'normal' life and because of it, she's quite jealous of everyone in the audience watching her. As much as she loves to perform, she'd give nearly anything to be on the other side of the glass. To be the one observing the 'freaks'.
To the people she is close to, Beast can be a much softer woman. She's caring and loyal to her fellow first-tier members, loving each and every one of them (except perhaps Snake) like a sibling. As such, she refers to them all as brother and sister, a strong mark of how much she cares for them. One member in particular brings out the best/worst in her, Joker, the brother who she has very strong feelings for. She wants nothing more than for him to return her feelings and leave the circus behind with her, but so far he turns down her advances. Though disheartened, she continues to follow him, loving him from afar.
Having lived and bonded with her fellow first-tier members of the circus, it comes as no surprise that Beast is extremely loyal to her little 'family'. She will do anything when it comes to protecting them, including the extremes she goes to in assisting her troupe with kidnapping children for their 'father'. While she doesn't like committing the crime and even tries to persuade Joker to run away with her instead of performing it, she would never abandon her family and instead chooses to stay and help them.
Motivations for Beast are rather simple. Everything she does, she does for her family's benefit. She could easily escape, run away, start a new life as a normal person, but she would never abandon the people she cares for.
POWERS/ABILITIES: Beast has no real powers or abilities besides her fabulous looks and her precision with a whip. Unless you include her incredible ~stage presence~.
ACT SUGGESTIONS: Beast would be most comfortable with taking the role of animal tamer once again.

This is impossible, isn't it? I was just under the big top with Betty. How could I have possibly ended up elsewhere so quickly? Where the hell is this place anyway?!
[Her hand tightens instinctively at her side. She's so used to feeling the whip's handle there.]
Please...Joker, where are you?
THIRD-PERSON:
The lashing whip cut through the air cleanly, leaving a crisp cracking noise hanging throughout the relatively quiet big top.
A hint of a beast-like roar in her commanding voice, the previous animal tamer of Noah's Ark Circus drew her whip back to her side as she shouted out orders. This may have been an entirely different circus from what she had grown up in, but the woman's dedication to the performance was exactly the same.
"Betty!! That form is unacceptable! We've been working on this new routine for weeks. Tonight is the premiere and-" The graceful feline cut off the woman with a soft growl, a padded foot stamping lightly on the ground in irritation.
The young woman's usually stern expression wilted under the tiger's green gaze, a softness taking over her facial features. "Betty..." Loosening her grip on the whip handle, Beast stepped forward towards the animal, kneeling down on her good leg as a gloved hand reached forward to rest on the tiger's head. "We've both been working hard, I know. But as the stars of the show, we have a standard to uphold." Her perfectly painted nails scratched Betty behind the ears. "This has to be perfect. Everyone is counting on us."
Everyone is counting on me.
She needed to do this. Even if her family wasn't here with her, she needed to perform at her very best for them. For Joker...
The thought brought a fierce blush to her pale cheeks. It was a fruitless battle. Her heart, no matter how many times she tried to deny her feelings for the man she so missed, refused to forget him. Before arriving to this place, the young woman had wanted to take Joker and run away from the circus life. To go out and live a normal life together, but Joker had been quite firm in turning her down.
He had no interest in leaving the circus. Maybe he didn't even have any interest in her.
The thought cut through Beast, her painted mouth agape slightly as the hand on the tiger fell limp at her side. It was impossible for her to ever leave this life without him, but did that mean she had to remain here forever? Performing and putting herself on show like the freak she was for the rest of her years?
Biting down on her bottom lip, the woman suddenly rose to her full height, her grasp tightening on the whip.
She could never abandon her family.
"From the top, Betty!"
ANY QUESTIONS?: INDEED! One, I would like to bring in the tiger Betty with Beast if she should get the position of animal tamer. The tiger will be a great comfort to the young woman and Beast would be happy to keep her in a cage.
Second, if both Joker-player (humerusly) and I get in, we'd really love to see the pair of them in the same troupe family, if that would be alright.
