1) You are walking to your lovers home. Do you:
*take the shorter to get to their house quicker
*take the longer scenic route
2) You walk past a bed of red and white roses. You pick 20, how many red and how many white do you choose?

for the first, i would say "take the shorter to get to their house quicker". only to ensure our time together shall be as much as possible and on the way back from there, i would take the sceneic route to give me time to think.
for the second, i would pick nineteen white roses and a single red.
and then give them to my lover.

2) the amount of white roses is how much you expect from a relationship and the amount of red is how much you give in a relationship
it is from a magazine quiz in the movie Twin Falls Idaho

Twin-they are twins
Falls-their last name is Falls
Idaho-they are staying on Idaho Avenue
it is a very good movie though. It is one of my favorite ones. I watched it last night and I adored it again.
I watched their third movie Northfork the other day as well and I realize The Polish Brothers are remarkable film makers

i would pick even numbers. (because i like symmetry)
i'm not really sure what that has to do with the other things.

and...more white i would say. i think there's more passion in a single white rose than there is in a dozen red roses, if you know what i mean.

I would have chosen the longer and all white...there is something almost mysterious in how pure they look
