First day at my work experience today! *phew* I'm tired! But it went really well. The people that I work with seem really nice and cool and down to earth. The guy that works the one-man fix-it shop, Donny, is really friendly. So that was nice.

Worked from like 9:40 till 2:30 today. Apparently a slow day at the shop but mostly busy to me. Saw a couple oil changes get done, looked a lots of engines in near complete confusion. I did take off a door handle, replace a safety belt, took off a Miata door panel and help with the window lock/slider replacement. I even got to use the electric car lift. :-D Oh, and put some spark plugs back in. Not bad for a girl who hadn't even popped a hood at the beginning of the day.

Hunter popped another fever, so my mum had to go pick him up at daycare early and they won't let him back until he's been fever free for at least 24 hours, so I won't be going back in tomorrow alas. But I don't mind a "free day" either.

Got home hoping to relax but my mum decided to pitch a complete fit at me because of my guinea pig (one died so I only have one now). Because I didn't ask her if I could get one and now she's all "IT'S MY HOUSE! AND NO YOU CAN'T KEEP THEM!" blah blah blah. And I just calmly told her it was BS. I've had the pig for a month and I have never once asked her for anything for it. I do not require her to pay for it, I do that. I have never asked her to look after it. Basically, considering she didn't even know it existed until today. So she's not going to make me feel bad about this. I pay rent here, thusly, making her like my tenant. And she keeps talking about "I thought we were two adults here.." Yeah, I thought so too. But not with her pulling stupid "I'M THE PARENT!!! BBLAH LBHALHB LHBLAHBALH" shit on me telling me what I can and cannot do, apparently with my own money now. ;-) Sorry toots. If I didn't pay rent, I'd ask you. But I do. I also pay for MY animal. So screw off.

So I told her that if she wants it out, she needs to find a home for it. Of course she wasn't happy with that and is demanding I find a new home for it. Sorry again toots, doesn't work like that. I want to keep it, I'm paying for it. If you want it out so badly, YOU do it. I'm kinda busy lately and lack of the time for that sort of unneeded nonsense.

That's about it.
