once in sophomore year history class in h.s., our teacher was telling us how people's last names came from what they do. like william smith is a blacksmith, thomas baker is a baker, etc. and people start calling out suggestions like "daniel potter." "james cooper." and this one kid goes, "heh, john hancock." ha ha ha.
