Things have been heck of busy at the C&C Coral lately. We had to take some time to set up house, build furniture, unpack the last of the boxes, and all of that good stuff. But it seems like we are finally settled

I installed RAM on my old computer (bumped the old thing up to 768MB), and it turned out waaay easier than I thought. It was kind of nerve wracking to find the right slot, but then I just popped it in and fired him up. 'Course, it was a Gateway - I can't say I know much about Powermac innards, but I can say if you DIY, you'll become very comfortable popping your computer open and get past the fear of making it explode in a single touch. :) Oh, a compressed air duster was really handy for me, too - it was duuuusty in there.
The issue with the new RAM came later - my computer wasn't configured for the extra heat of another RAM chip, and he would randomly shut down from overheating. I had the option of going into BIOS to turn up the threshold CPU temp, orrr...I had my friend send me a 9mm fan, which solved the problem.
Don't let it worry you though. Every puzzle has an answer. :D
