I know it's stupid to get attached to material things, but recently I lost my favorite jacket.  I'm pretty sure it got kicked under the backseat of our rental car when we went to visit Chris's parents, and despite calling Enterprise and trying to track it down, there's been no luck. Which really sucks, because that means that if it WAS in the car,

I lost my favorite leather jacket last year, in a Karaoke bar after the first or second day of MoCCA. You have my sympathies, madam.

Oh Man!! I lost something in an enterprise car once too! It was this wooden sign eric's Dad made for me for doing caricature. It was held up in the back by sawed off crutches that were screwed in place! So awesome. I accidentally left it in the trunk and when I called them to get it back a few days later they said it had probably been thrown out!! They said they sold my car and the place they sold it to probably just threw out whatever was in there!!

I'm sorry about your jacket dude! It does suck a whole lot to loose something.
It doesn't make sense, they have to clean the cars before they rent them to other people so wouldn't they call the last person who rented the car if they found something in it?
