I have also witnessed a multi-car takedown operation right outside of my window in recent months. This sting involved a lot of plainclothes men speaking into cell-phones/walkie talkies and a lone van which, when approached by the perp, sent said plainclothes dudes into action in car and on foot. It was surreal and swift for a sunny afternoon, mostly because the operation involved handcuffs and guns. The Hammer seems to be a hotbed of copper activity. Or crime. I guess they go hand in hand.
