Rainbow Coffee Mug day. Because I need a little inner rainbow. Sleep last night was punctuated with nightmares and pain. I often miss the feeling of belonging to a culture, and I know I've tried to adopt traditions into our family in some hopes to build our own culture or famliy heritage/history. I come from a very small family (small & dysfunctional), and my mom tended to make it smaller still by cutting part of our family out, and then more, and more. My grandmother was agoraphobic, so she kept her family at a distance, and I never really knew my father. So, even the sparse culture I might have had seems completely out of reach.

(that was my long-winded way to say I relate).
