The dark flower is burgundy (but is so dark it's almost black) scabiosa. I had never seen scabiosa in this color, so cool
I really suck at taking flower photos.

Supposedly pregnant women aren't supposed to eat hot dogs, but I think as long as they're high quality and cooked well, which these were, I think I'm fine. And anyway I really wanted hot dogs. These are "picnic dogs" with baked beans, cheddar cheese and coleslaw. Healthy yes? And I realize totally sounds pretty gross, I've never been a fan of baked beans or coleslaw, but somehow this flavor combination is so amazing. Mmm
We are finally redoing our shitty storage room in the basement. Not sure what we'll do with it, it may remain a storage room but the room has always been so gross, it was time to fix it up. We ripped up the carpet, took out that gross plastic shelf, I'm just about finished painting it (dark blue with black trim) and Christian is looking into putting in new flooring (may have gotten in a bit over are heads with that one, but we'll see) Ugh we also need to get new ceiling tiles.
God it's so hot. Everywhere!
