I've been left handed most of my life, and no matter how high quality the pen, the ink still smudges under my hand as I dutifully write from left to right. Granted, I haven't really looked into 'left handed' pens specifically, but it has never occurred to me before. I see there is a wide variety of designs and theories behind how each pen assists left handed writers. Wow... ~~A whole new world~~...
I think so. I don't remember exactly which hand I began with, but I recall a memory of my second grade teacher being frustrated with my penmanship because I wanted to use both hands. I thought even at that age it would be uniquely beneficial to be ambidextrous. She insisted I choose one, so I chose left. Whether or not I was a lefty before that day I do not recall.
As far as pens go, I prefer an Erasermate, though the quality of the eraser has waned considerably over time since I discovered them. I don't want my ink permanent until my words say what I want them to. ;)

I have seen some of the ways they suggest to write and I will probably try them out - I can write with my left hand a little.

its a liquid ink so it dry pretty quick on most apper and even if it smudges I don't get gel ink build up on my hand.
