Thanksgiving Review

Yesterday started poorly as when I woke up the turkey was still frozen and the dishwasher died. Then we lost internet while trying to fix the dishwasher (it's complicated). I managed to get the bird defrosted and in the oven and then there was a lot of dish washing by hand. All food was successfully prepared (no uncooked spots in the turkey),

We lucked out and got the one we wanted for super cheap and, after 3 more trips to the hardware store looking for the new-new adapter, it is installed and working. Woo!

What harsh luck...and on Thanksgiving of all days! That's gotta qualify you for some honor on the food channel or something...they'll have like...Rachael Ray come cook dinner for you and your family or something. ::grins::

Glad your holiday turned out well despite the setback, and that you found the dishwasher you wanted! Must've been 'karma conservation' phenomenon going on. Freaky.

I'm glad that everything is all fine now. Except... wait, were you using the dishwasher to thaw the turkey? (Is that why the turkey was still frozen?). :)
