This is someone jumping on it so hard that it launches the other person into orbit and catches his hair on fire! I love this picture.
Earth and Magnetosphere.
Ian drew this for art class when asked to draw a picture of "anything at all". It is a picture of the earth's molten iron core spinning and generating a magnetic field that protects the earth from the solar wind. (Sun in upper right corner). I recognized it from the conversation we had in the car this morning.
