This is SO WEIRD.  Jenny and I went to Jeju-do last weekend and In noticed a flyer at the airport's tourist info booth with Anne of Green Gables on it.  I have no idea what it says, really, but from what I gather they're trying to tie the smaller island of Udo off the East Coast of Jeju and PEI together because, well, they're both small islands, I

Kind of amazing! I hear that Anne is HUGE in east Asia, particularly Korea and Japan. I'm not really sure why though.

I don't really know either, but I've seen the Anne anime series on tv here, and the box set is available in lots of DVD stores.
