Oh wow, I still have a livejournal.

You might not know this based on reading my LJ, but I totally live in Canada again! I'm a temporary resident of Toronto, until such time that our sublet ends and Jenny & I become permanent residents of Toronto...or not. We are living here until May 20th, and our apartment looks like this:

Oh man, yes, write scripts for Chuck. That show really shows so much promise but just misses the mark sometimes and seems to be so torn on whether it wants to be a serial show or just repeat the same thing over and over again. Having smart people writing for it would be good for everyone!

Well if I wrote Chuck as a sample, I likely wouldn't have (or want) anyone from the show ever seeing it, but if I wrote Chuck AMAZINGLY, then yeah, maybe an agent or a showrunner would staff me based on that.

I missed the last few episodes specifically because of that "repeat the same thing over and over again" technique they've been trying out. It really turns me off the show, and I haven't been able to muster up the strength to watch it again. I will at some point, I'm sure.
