Wow, I wasn't expecting Heath to ask Jake to move in so quickly, but it does fit in with the story. Heath is feeling possessive and I'm sure on top of that he'd like to know that Jake is safe and not dealing with men who could be more than a little dangerous. And Jake was right that they don't really know each other that well yet.

I need more of this story!!!!! It's so good! ♥

i don't think either one of them were expecting him to say that either. and heath knows it's not really a good idea, but don't expect this to be the last you hear about it either!!

thanks so much for your comments. i'm sorry i haven't been doing good at answering them lately. i've been trying so hard to keep up with this story while getting that other one ready to go, that i've neglected the rest of the world. still no word from dsp, but i have my fingers crossed.

big hugs, me!

I have total faith in your abilities and that you'll be hearing from dsp!

And no worries about the comments. Trust me, I know how busy life can get and I'd rather have story writing from you than comment answering. :)

And I forgot to mention I really liked the conversation between Heath and Ethan and then Heath and Jake after that.

Enjoying these two very much. They are at ease and yet uncomfortable with each other at the same time.

yes, they are. they've got chemistry and it works up to a point, but they still need time and trust, and they can't rush those things.

thanks for reading. :)

ok, moving in is probably a bad idea right now but I'm glad he said it all the same
something to mull over for Jake
I like their time together this evening- it's still a bit uncomfortable but it feels - at least a little bit- like the 'grown up' relationship they both are looking for

yes, jake is being the sensible one here, which is maybe a bit unusual considering heath's usual modus operandi of responsible living. we'll have to wait and see how things develop. i've been pre-writing and i'm only a couple of weekends ahead so i'm not sure when the other shoe will drop. :)

I almost jumped off the couch when I read Heat asking Jake to move in ! I thought he would follow with his friends example.... but it's true, they barely know each other, need to work on that and build trust. You would think that Heath would be the one having trust issues, considering his profession, but now I think Jake has major problems in this dept ? I don't know, you gave a few hints at his past... the only thing would be that Jake has to continue being a hooker ! huh, you would say I'm Heath, possessive and .... ;o)

Thank you so much, I looooove it !!!

LOL! I think Heath was as surprised as you when those words came out of his mouth. he's ready for more and a change, though, and he isn't sure how to make it happen in a more reasonable way because of Jake's situation. we'll have to see how it all plays out. like i said in the comment above, i'm prewriting ahead and i'm a couple of weeks further along and so far, the issue is still brewing...

thanks for the comment. i'm glad you're enjoying the story so far. :)
