thank you. i'm sorry that i'm floundering so badly lately, but i think i may have a bit of a handle on where this story needs to go. i'd love to wrap it up in a few chapters, but that's probably not very likely. ugh.

I was really glad to see more of this story posted! You are one mesmerizing writer, and I'm in suspense about what the guys will do next. I like the phrase, "the free fall of self-discovery." It so perfectly describes the sensation of letting go of your illusions and seeing who you are for real, under all the defenses you've built up over years. I can definitely relate to that.

thank you!! i'm glad you're still enjoying their tale. they are both starting to realize that maybe they're being too idealistic/cautious/stubborn (and probably lots of other things) for their own good. i'm hoping things will start to turn around in the next chapter or two.

Good to see you are back. I like this new chapter. I guess they are slowly taking (very slow) steps to getting their shit together. Hopefully Jake soon is brave enough to call Heath.

i'm not gonna rush it, but i feel like this one is winding down and i'm ready for everyone to get happy so i can maybe unearth one of my other languishing WIP's. i have so many. le sigh...

I agree with happygirl, that I'd like this to go on for a good long while, but the prospect of revisiting one of your other WIPs is tantalizing! I don't know which I want more! Definitely, first, I hope you can help these two find their ways in life.
