so, i come across these different artists a lot and have no one to tell them about/to, besides Bird, and he's not here so I thought I would just post it. I might do more of this if I get excited about someone or something, or maybe not whatever.

Really choice stuff. I really like the Micheal Borremans. Maybe its just the scale, but I think its sweet how he develops just a portion of the painting and lets the rest of it go, as well all know, there is great skill in knowing when to stop.

i like borremans better, but there's something to be said for that romantic glowy- hammock image. i'll be thinking about that one today for sure...

i was surprised how much the cheesy romantic glow appealed to me. normally i'm not a big fan, but in this case i think the fact that its both sweet and romantic but at the same time eerie and a little spooky, it sucked me in.
