You know me: I like prequels.
For a change, I'm doing a lengthy sequel to my 7 Toddler Challenge!
This update is mainly about me! Find out what I get up to while the kids are at school.
I get an early start working on my want to become a werewolf. Baxter and I are now close enough to play fetch.

Tricky! I must be feeling pretty confident about our relationship. Or am I trying to provoke him into biting me?
Scout saw what I did, there.
Most of the kids wake up wanting to fish, so I take them to the park before school.
Angel earns her bronze fishing badge! She now wants to make it silver.
Fishing works up an appetite. Time to put my new cooking skills to work!
I'm experimenting with kid-friendly meals, like Morning Sun pancakes by bienchen83. Stupidly, I forgot to install the custom plate with the meal. The individual servings don't show up.
Plain pancakes it is, then! I *will* make it up to you, kids. Really.
The kids aren't fussy. Plain pancakes, fancy pancakes -- either one provokes a feeding frenzy.

I play fetch with Ariel, and then she lets me *rub her belly*!
Once we become friends, I notice a new option in our interaction menu.
Reader, I adopted her!
Then the game bursts my bubble.
What the heck? I thought Ariel counted as a stray. According to Sims Wiki, wolves are NPCs, so maybe the game thinks she's a Sim?
Oh, well. I'll try, again, once I have an empty nest.
Sensing that I'll be disappointed, the game sends along Fury as the next walkby.
I forget all about Ariel. I'm not ashamed of my feelings, so I *run* to greet him.

This is a historic moment, folks. My Sim-self is meeting Fury for the very first time!
I was so *right* to give myself that make-over.
I start right in on the fan-girling.
"I'm *such* a big fan of your work," I gush. "I've been reading your adventures since 2008!"
Far from being put off by my enthusiasm, Fury seems pleased to meet me, too.
My Sim-self can't contain herself. She looks at me and says, 'Ohmigosh, are you *seeing* this?!'
I *know*, Sim-self! I can hardly believe it, either.

Fury is gracious and affable, no doubt taking all this attention as his due. I'm completely smitten!
I lose all restraint, at this point, and curtsy while squeezing his fingertips.
Does my behaviour seem ridiculous? overblown? cringe-inducing?
Well, guess what.
*I am the answer to his prayers*
The telephone rings and the moment is over.
It's Lark calling, right on cue, to check up on Fury while he's visiting a different lot.
I was kinda hoping that Fury would spontaneously clean for me. Maybe he's letting me have 'all the fun'?
I can't believe he's cheating so early in our relationship.
Meanwhile, the school bus pulls up. Angel gives the driver a jaunty wave good-bye. She's bringing home good news!
That A+ feeling! What does it look like?
'It looks like that,' Fury says.
The game gets tired of offloading the kids one-by-one and dumps the rest of 'em out the emergency exit.
They stand in the street and grumble about their grades.
Now, to keep them all occupied!
Laura wants to have a water balloon fight and be best friends with Yvette Phelps. Pairing them off proves to be the right combo.

Here's another historic meeting, folks! I'm greeting George Selwyn from my Still Human series.
Being George, he reaches out to clasp my forearm in a firm grip, and being me, I want to poke his tummy.

Now, here's a Sim who knows which side his bread is buttered on! Right after we finish greeting, George auto-admires me.
Just then, Fury leaves -- I *regret* to say, over differences in the bathroom. It was like the plumbing at school had broken: all the kids needed to use the loo and bathtub. Heidi shoos Fury out of one bathroom, and Ocean stands his ground in this one.
So, Fury spurns our plumbing, and goes next door to use Lark's.
Meanwhile, Heidi and Meredith play a game of 'vampire.'

Water balloons are still flyin', outdoors.
Laura glances at the camera and says, "I'm gonna get her, this time!"

No surprise, here: the moment I leave her idle, Angel slips away to paint.
Meredith is a Sports Sim, too. Wearing a cheesy grin, Skylar asks her to play catch.
I'm not sure about these expressions he's developing.
While the kids play, I set Neder's Variable Meal Servings to 12 and cook up a crowd-sized pot of spaghetti.

C'mon, you two. Don't stand on the furniture.
Here we are, gathered around the table! I'm even making light conversation about George's book, What Fred Said.
I've only shown you the back of Meredith's head, so far. Let me show you her face.
Right after I snap her picture, Meredith dashes out the door, shielding her face with one hand.
Not every Sim relishes the limelight of appearing in updates, I suppose.
Meanwhile, Ocean slips in a little chess practice under cover of the folding board. This is is how he builds up gaming enthusiasm so covertly!
Marcel continues to be my little helper.
I like this nonchalant, hand-on-hip pose. It's like he's thinking, "I don't know why grown-ups make a fuss about doing the dishes. It's so easy!"
I thought it would cute if Ocean played chess with George, but it just seems to be stressing him out.
Homework time!

I get this brainwave to ask George to repair the leaky tub. This is the pay-off for skilling up my Sims!
He changes into something more comfortable, first.
Meanwhile, Angel makes the acquaintance of her new toy, Bruno the Pirate. They greet each other respectfully with deep bows.
No, of course not. I tried to be clever with OSMP placement, and this is the result. Angel really loves that bear, though! After the standard hug and bash-to-the-floor, Angel sat Bruno on her lap and had a long conversation with him. I look forward to seeing that animation sans glitch!
Whoa! Now George is fixing the toilet. I didn't know that it was clogged OR that 'influence to repair' covers multiple repair jobs.
Meanwhile, I'm out in the rain, digging up bones to occupy the wolves when they visit the lot.
My hand slips on the wet handle and the dirt falls back into the hole.
I didn't choose the werewolf destiny. That destiny chose me.
