For what it's worth, and I know this is kind of out of the blue, I've struggled with religion a lot, and I'm starting to find that I really don't identify with any of the dogma I've been presented with, really ever. In the past couple of weeks, through a ridiculous amount of introspection and some research into various pagan paths, I'm starting to figure out what I really believe. I still don't think I'm taking an explicitly deist path, but it's my path, you know? There is no dogma, there is just my experience of what is out there for us. If you haven't looked at all at any pagan traditions, it might be helpful to take a look, if only because almost all abolish evangelism in favor of personal spirituality.
Touche. I guess I'm not sure exactly how to define what I meant--I had been chatting with a Wiccan friend and another who just calls himself pagan... I've been looking a lot at some of the philosophies and such of the early Germanic/Scandinavian peoples, which would be a slightly different viewpoint than the Celtic Wiccan tradition. The closest thing I can think of is that both traditions are considered "nature" religions... Yeah, this is gonna have to be a face-to-face talk, 'cause I don't really do eloquence online. We'll chat sometime :0D

I like that you're taking your own path. If you ever want to chat (not through journals :P ), let me know, that would be fun :)

Yes, I have explored Wicca, and I actually followed it in high school for a year, I think. I really like it, it has some very good virtues to it.
