great fic, zipped full of beautiful turns of phrases... i loved the slow progression of character you had here for Gabriel, and natyrally the ending was the right amount of bittersweet to make my toes to curl up in delight.

Aw, a nice happy ending for the family :) I liked the way you told the story, really expressing how he felt about what was going on and how much he really cared for his family, even if he couldn't be with the (until the end of course). And so cute that Elle always showed Noah his picture. Great job!

I think he would always want something like a family and I really couldn't end it sad.

And Elle in the end really did care about him. Her family as well.
