I love Samhain, Halloween, All Soul's Day, whatever, this is the best season ever! :) And I'm not a candy fiend either, pffft. I just love this time of year. It's like preparing for a long night of sleep when you know you're going to rest really well, better than you ever have, and that you'll wake up feeling more refreshed and renewed than ever before. Anticipation of the coming year. For me this is my New Year, at Samhain. It's always been my favorite holiday. It's terrible I know, but this is one of only three holidays that I celebrate on a regular basis. The others... eh if I have time and they don't slip by when I'm too busy to peek at my calendar :( And that's not even counting Epiphany which isn't on the calendar anyway. I celebrate it since it falls on my son's birthday. So really... that's four holidays! Yay, I'm not so shabby after all?
Erm. Moving on. I plan to redecorate the journal here as well tomorrow with some spookiness. OoOoooOOOOooo! Yes yes, I'm cheesy. Let me have my gouda.
Mom is still a bossy bitch and K is still a twit.
My house needs cleaning. Plus I'm due for a manicure. I have this one nail, of course it's the right middle finger, that always breaks. So the nails have been trimmed much much shorter than norm for me and the manicurist thinks I'm laying bricks or something to keep breaking that same damn nail on almost a weekly basis. "Shut up and file"... if only. I'm also due for shoe shopping thanks to Pudge who has chewed up five pairs of my shoes. I've found a home for little Miss Lesbian Doggie (she humps my other female dog). The receptionist will be taking her home to keep with her rat terrier. A perfect pair the two will make! Both hyper and super lovable. I've already warned her of all this pup's little quirks and she still wants her. Amazing.
Odd, but when my all white cat stretches his back up it just isn't as menacing looking as a black cat doing it. Hmph. Maybe I should buy some black hair spray for him for the season ^.^
