(no subject)
Monday, my little sister was born. I got the call close to 7:00 am and was ready by 7:30 am. By 8:30 we were at the hospital and she was born at 8:56. Neat. So of course, I was off work Monday. Then Mom asked me to stay home the rest of the week to help Julie out with the baby and cleaning the house. Actually she asked me on the way up to the hospital. Evidently Julie's mom made a comment to mom about the house being nasty. She was sort of unkind about it etc. Personally, I would have told her that if she didn't like it, then shush and grab a sponge :) But anyway, I went home the day Molly was born and started cleaning their house. I've been there four days and scrubbed walls, doors, bathrooms, bedrooms, bookshelves, floors, counters, cabinets, knicknacks etc. One big fat clean fest. I'm exhausted, and I'm not done yet. The baby is adorable too. Man she's cute. I'll post pics here soon, I took a ton of them with the new HP camera. Julie tried printing some out to test it. Spiffy little thing. I go back to work tomorrow since Karolina will be leaving at 1:00. Then back to the cleaning grill over the weekend before Julie's mom gets there. I even spent the night the first night since Mom and Julie stayed at the hospital. Glad I did, Pepper was her usual bossy, grumpy self with Taylor and Dustin. Egads. She's hateful with them anymore.
Oh and the tornados that swept through about three weeks ago, Stephy had this to say the day they were coming, she called me up and said "The tomatos are coming!" and when I got home she told me about the tomatos coming again and spun her finger in the air in a circle. Yup, she's a riot :P
Did I mention how cute the baby is? My kids will be glad when things are back to normal here though. I've had Cara and Stephy at Mom's with me a couple nights so they don't miss me too much. Dre' was even over one entire day. He and Stephy had a dentist appointment and ended up just staying the day with me at Mom's when they were finished. Dre' has to have his wisdom teeth out, the two on the bottom are impacted and need cut out, the top two will be pulled. Stephy has one broken tooth that will be pulled and one permanent tooth coming in behind a baby tooth that isn't loose yet so the baby tooth has to be pulled. Needless to say, she has to be put under. I forgot to have her take her medicine that morning and she was really hyper or else they would have pulled them that morning. Now she has to wait.
Anyway, off to bed. I'm home finally and worn out. When I got home last night I went straight to bed and only woke up once, compared to the usual 5-6 times a night heh.
