Life is 100% better with me driving. The first thing I did after dropping Dre' off at driving school was to take the van out for a wash and good inside cleaning. Steve trashes whatever he drives. He ruined my old van, it was disgusting. I used to keep a bottle of ArmorAll in my glove compartment and used it :P I kept it vacuumed out and washed. When I told him I was heading to the car wash his response was "Why bother, it's winter?" Duh, that's when it needs it the most. Salt and whatever else they put on the ice eating up the car. Egads, the man is stupid. Not to mention it looked as if someone had thrown up outside the passenger door. Nasty. I'm still not done cleaning the inside, I just used ArmorAll on the front inside of the van. The rest is awful and will require at least an hour of work cleaning it all up. Plus I need to just pull it up beside my house to vacuum it out properly, the hose at the car wash can't get the edges good. Yes, I'm just as OCD about what I'm driving as what I live in ^.^ I may ride in a dirty car, but when I drive it, it better be clean.

So, I ran errands today, it was fun. Being able to get out of the house when I needed to, awesome. I went ahead and made a resume last night and faxed it off to two places, one a urology clinic the other a dermatology, both looking for MA's and both higher pay w/ benefits. Perk. I kept the resume simple and to the point and still ended up with 1 1/2 pages. I'm hoping that between nursing school and my nearly two years experience as an MA/Office Manager I'll land either place. Both happen to be businesses we've referred patients to in the past :) and both are right here in the same town as Mom's clinic, so the location is perfect. I'm sort of hoping they recognize the clinic name I worked at and score a bonus point, heh.

The kids were so excited about me having my license yesterday, the girls even went with me to clean the van ^.^

Back to laundry, with all the running around the past few days, it's been neglected and piling up.
