We leave a week from tomorrow for Miranda's first photo shoot. It'll be in Miami. Lisa and her daughter will be attending the same session. She'll arrive the night before, we'll get in that Friday morning. The guy is legit, he's landed her daughter jobs with top companies through his business. I'm excited for Miranda. He even paid for her tanning sessions and lotion. My friend's daughter is now making 3 grand a month through his company not counting the freelance contracts she lands from her portfolio.

Work is good except for one of the blood draws I did this morning. I hit everyone no problem except this one lady who had absolutely no veins, not even on the back of her hands. I found one beneath her arm that was big enough to get a butterfly in and pulled about 2ml out before her vein literally exploded. I've never witnessed anyone's vein blow that quick and hard. She warned me she was a hard stick, but I was in that vein good and it was flowing beautifully then poof, a huge bubble in a blink. It was that fast. I whipped that needle out and covered her so quick she jumped and let out a little squeak. Then laughed at me and said "I told you I was a hard stick". Bleh.

Been rockin' on the j-o-b though. I really love what I'm doing. I'm fast and prepared for procedures and get all warm and fuzzy when complimented :) I really don't know how to respond, just a thank you and I'm out the door for the next patient with red cheeks.

Oh and the guy that was doing the build out for Mom's new clinic quit, leaving her building a freakin' mess. The guy bought tools (!!!) using her money, drinks, candy bars and enough lumber to build a house. Lots of other materials that weren't there when he left either. So I called the guy Saturday when I heard he quit and told him to bring the tools, receipts he still had (Mom had some but not all) and any money not accounted for over to her clinic that day. He said he would when he contacted his lawyer. I told him he would that day or we would contact our lawyer. He hung up on me. He wouldn't take my calls after that so I went to Mom's clinic where her practice manager was, my buddy :) I used her phone to call him and told him if those tools weren't there that day I was calling the police on him for theft. We talked a little bit more and hung up on a good note, we weren't yelling :P He then calls mom shortly after and tells her he and his crew would be in the new place and finish it all up that day. He did that to hold me off. They never showed. So yeah... she's taking him to court. Bastard. I still wanted to call the cops but Mom told me no. Whatever, it's her deal, I tried to help her. I did find a glazer to do the tempered glass for free, to replace the windows in the reception area that the bastard fucked up :) and I got a licensed electrician to go in and look at the electrical for her to tell her where it stood. It was a mess. Then got a guy who is a -real- contractor to come in and take over, who will do it for nothing, just the cost of materials, all of it. My brother has been there nearly every day working on stuff, several other men have been in there mudding, sanding, painting, trimming etc. They've been working their asses off. And I spent all last weekend packing her non-essentials up, moving those to the new location and packing other stuff up, organizing etc so she'll be ready to move. So yeah, I'm worn out. Her receptionist is worth shit. My buddy was over at the new building helping the guys mud, sand, paint, whatever they needed done, she hasn't had a day off since she was interviewed. So I told her to take Sunday off that I would finish packing stuff up that day. She was worn out. Mom has been a wreck since all of this has been going on, hence me attempting to help and find cheap/free shit.

Oh and the new contractor by the way is one fine ass piece of man :) He's a gentleman, well built, beautiful blue eyes, great daddy to his little girl who he has custody of, owns his own company, level headed, perfect. Oh to be 120 lbs and have a man like that :P

Anyway, good night. Life is good, I'm truly feeling better. Have some more to update about my summer but that can wait for another time. I have tons of pics to still put up.
